Wheeler Magnet students are a unique, diverse group. They come from public, private and homeschool backgrounds and are among the best and brightest in the state.
More than 60 students have scored 800 on one or more sections of the SAT, three students scored 1600 overall and since the addition of the writing portion, one scored a 2400. We created the 800 Club to celebrate their success.
Our students have received national recognition in prestigious science competitions including semifinalists in both the Intel Science Talent Search and the Siemens Westinghouse Science Competitions.
