Testing
An
admissions test will be administered in January. Admissions
testing for all magnet programs will be conducted
at Wheeler. Information will be sent with directions,
inclement weather procedures, and make-up dates. If
there are any special services needed for testing,
please call Mary McGinnis at 770-578-3286.
The
admissions test is a version of the PSAT. We do NOT
expect you to study or prepare in any way for the

Highlights
- A
large number of Wheeler Magnet students are involved
in the Fine Arts. Band,
Orchestra,
Chorus, Art and Drama play an important role in
their lives. Not only do they make time for these
activities, but many of our students have been selected
for The Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and The
Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra.
- Parents
and community leaders created a nonprofit foundation,
The Center for Advanced Studies Foundation, in 2003
to develop financial and volunteer resources to
support the needs of The Center for Advanced Studies.
A few of the many programs that the Foundation has
made possible are; print and electronic newsletters,
lunch & learn forums, team building activities,
speakers bureau and Magnet student directories.
