The
Center for Advanced Studies attracts the best high
school math and science talent in Cobb County. The
rigorous curriculum offers our students the opportunity
to take advanced math and science courses typically
offered in college. Seniors in our program are ahead
of many university students in the breadth and depth
of their technical studies and are ready to pursue
in-depth scientific research.
Each
senior is responsible for identifying areas of specific
personal interest and arranging to work with a mentor
who is an expert in that field. The mentor serves
as a guide and resource, supervising original or ongoing
research before or during the student's senior year.
